Jay is a financial coach that ‘speaks athlete’.

Jay founded SportsWealthCoach.com and NILBuckets.com with a mission to help athletes preserve their wealth, avoid debt, and thrive financially after their playing careers end. Leveraging her background as a Division I Women’s Basketball player at Central Connecticut State University, Jay brings firsthand experience and insight to her financial coaching.

With a comprehensive approach, she specializes in working with clients to manage expenses and eliminate debt, enabling clients to support families and prepare for retirement. Jay’s expertise extends beyond personal finance, drawing from her diverse professional experience with the Brooklyn Nets, where she held roles in sales, marketing, and with the Nets Chamber of Commerce.

Jay’s achievements have been widely recognized, including a cover story and feature article in Black Enterprise Magazine. She obtained her Financial Education Instructor Certification℠ (CFEI®) in 2021 and has raised substantial funds for athletic programs and nonprofit organizations, including hundreds of thousands of dollars for Division I and Division II athletics, and over $2.6 million for NYU School of Law.

A proud New York native, Jay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Pace University.
